My heart is outside me*

Many broken yesterdays that tomorrow may bring
More of hurt within me, that my heart cannot sing
A loneliness that has stained with much despair
That I move onward, no longer to care
A seed that has been planted to sprout no roots
That love has been taken away from me and found its own truth
