Went down as it goes up again*

Went down as it goes up again* 

Once upon a time in a place so tall

What seems to be in the heavens that was so small

There was a chill that came from the cold air

And blew up into the sky way up there

What the next thing that happened got heavy with weight

And detached from the sky and was falling down straight

It hit the ground and that is where it stayed

But more of its family soon coming making its way

Then a group clustered in all of the surround

And started to make piles and huge mounds

It was the chill that was pure and made snow

It was fluffy and sugary and around it blows

So it sat there for awhile but a bit of heat set in

Now the cold air could not hold on it seemed this was the end

As the grip of white purity no longer the cold was not felt

Soon a geo molecular structure started to melt

Once there was this was this place that looked like icing on the cake

Was now sliding away rapidly as departure it did make

So it took a trip from the point of origin it began

And knew a pathway another journey going towards its end

It gained momentum as it was on a mountain

The incline was to great, it became a horizontal fountain

It was finally free and seen a source there as it was on the verge

Of continuing what it always was coming to a merge

Soon it hooked up with a flow, a quick running stream

Awakened from being the snow to a flow from its dream

As it headed moving along and it seems it will never stop

From a place that it is now but use to be on top

But behold as it heads home to its source

And when it arrives because it took this course

It is not over where it stays emptying into the ocean everywhere

It waits its turn once more and goes back in the skies up there
