Destination returning*
Once in a lifetime the air stood still
The atmosphere was cool, a bit of a chill
A street had a dead-end sign I could see
But I was not going that way, somewhere else to be
A few houses in a row the old type you know
Victorian era with porches, they seem to put on a show
A fat black and white cat scurried off to the left
It took off so fast, it had something to fret
But I was only there for a while and had to return where I came
To visit that spot familiarity to be the same
When I arrived at my destination, I was not alone
I came back with a pizza for dinner at home
