Waiting upon many moments to see if my heart would stray

Such a struggle when you are in love to find its way

For love is a beautiful thing that just happens to be

When it does happen then your heart will have vision to see

As seasons will change and come back again

For this is falling in love, a love without end

My heart deep within seems so far away

It use to be of love and never felt gray

But something happened along this road

For the heart is burdened with a heavy load

I cannot break away from this for it hurts so

It was in my companionship with my lover that I know

But of all things in life that come along

To believe that in your heart they belong

No longer can this be as it goes with reason

That there is a meaning in the change of all seasons

So I sit here and ponder and go within to reflect

That I know my heart will heal and see that my Soul* will connect

It feels at times that love is like attachment to be

But when you look at it it is meant to be free

Then I must move on, as this is what is to know

And no longer to see this as the past, I will let go

Romantically involved, placing you gently on the ground

It is a gaze into your Soul* my love does receive

Is love seasonal?*

For the autumn of my life has now come

In letting go as I did, it is now done

I had a love that was like the first day of spring

Joy in my heart that my lover did bring

As our love grew in the summer of our affair

All around magic and love was in the air

A little more in our relationship, you can feel something clear

That for some reason or another, love would disappear

So now the winter of this is about to begin

Do I settle down or look for another lover once again?

Time to survive on a waterway say a beach
Some will have to slumber out, it is not in their reach
