Bird in the hand, happily flown away*

Bird in the hand, happily flown away*

Once upon a time a bird came to me
It was hurt without love as it felt lonely
The bird was nurtured, helping its heart
Starting off fresh and the hurt came apart
Now time has gone on and what do we see
A brand new bird who is so happy
