You have a friend in Mother Goose*
This is an actual story that took place last week at my job....I am the kind of person that always preaching positive thoughts and live by them but this story rocked my keel a little. I am an inventory manager and a purchasing agent for the United States Government in Upstate New York and have been working there for almost 35 1/2 years.
It all began with a certain purchase I made. In the government we have transactions that were allocated with funds.These transactions are given to purchasing agents to place the orders with the particular companies. Some companies have open market status, which is, there are no government contracts attached and we can buy anything from any of those vendors under $3000.00. Then there is GSA contracts. These are government contracts awarded to any business, small or large, veteran owned or women owned or minority owned but the vendor just submits a form to get on these contracts and they get put in an elibrary for GSA which is a government catalog for any item imaginable. Then there is Federal Government Contracts that are contracts awarded to the Government for only procuring from that vendor only and cannot deviate from it as the company put a bid in for to sell their product(s) at a decent price and was locked in and awarded for the Government.
OK Now you know some of what I do as I procure for the United States Government. getting back to this story, like I said, I was given a transaction and it was for $94.12 for a certain sponge we buy.I have a government credit card and purchased this item at an open market vendor. As case would have it and little did I know that this item was on Standardized Contract with the Government and was sent up as an immediate problem. OK so I receive an email from one of the people monitoring these things and this person needed info why I bought this item off of Contract. I asked them,"What are you talking about?" They needed a Directive why I did this. Still did not know what they were talking about...I was purchasing for 5 years and never had this problem show up. I explained the situation but this person gave my incident to upper management and a tug of war pursued. There were five people that were making in an excess of $65,000 to $120,000 a year that was ready to slap the cuffs on me for a $94.12 order that I had no idea in with this potential financial fiasco? These upper management flagged me and sent my violation to 2 huge corporations to be recognized as I went off contract...There was more money spent on my mess up by the people pointing fingers than the cost of the product itself..but that is a different subject and the matter as far as I am concerned is over. They found out I was never in violation because there was no specifics used for that particular sponge and the contract was cancelled 3 years ago...but that is their suffering and not mine, as I brushed it off. But Now the meat of my story.
I was feeling a little gray about this situation, so my remedy was to meditate at this pond I go to near the Albany International Airport in Colonie,N.Y. I arrived at the pond and seen in the distance a group of geese and their fledglings walking around and pecking at the grasses near the edge of the pond. I brought my HOLOSYNC MP3 and sat on a picnic table and started to look out on the pond and started going inward with my deep meditation. About 15 minutes into the deep meditation, I heard the sounds of garble coming from my left where the geese were and it was getting louder. I happen to peek in the corner of my eye and was surprised that I had around 30 geese and their fledglings all circled me and did not even flinch to rid me off their territory. There were a few mallards with them but I could not believe how many were there.
Then as the night progressed I heard these young adults about 25 years old getting closer to where I was sitting and came up near me and the geese and started taking pictures of them. I seen in front of me a mother goose and her fledglings and possibly a few females go into the water with mom and start to circle around. When she was done with her swim she came out right next to me and flapping her wings and squinching her neck in a hissing fashion, not a me but the young adults. I watched in the corner of my eye as she went up to the young adults by moving in a way that told those 25 year kids to back off. So they left. The amazing thing about this was they still stayed next to me as to having a comfort of what happened to me earlier that day with the $94.12 order. I felt so good about this whole incident I started balling my eyes out as to feel the present of God touching my Spirit and saying, "You will be just fine." I made mother goose my friend that moment as if she was my protector and being of baptismal of purity of that day
Well, the night slowly came to an end when a man and his son came to go fishing in the pond and the son brought a net with him. I knew that I would have to leave as the boy was in front of me trying to catch a frog in his net but noticed that the geese knew that their presence was not needed anymore because they felt me with their Awareness getting ready to leave anyways. I got up off the picnic table and proceeded to my car and looked back at my friends and mother goose and said goodbye to them and thanked them for supporting me that evening. The geese went right back in the same place they started from before they seen me.
That evening I felt very blessed as another Spiritual connection was made with nature and ever since that moment my Awareness has gotten a little sharper as it responds so well and knows the being I am in the positive. By the way I went tonite 16JUNE2009, to check up on them and they were at a distance as to telling me, "You are fine tonite, my nature brother." I am so glad that there are alternatives and outlets to ground your minor ignorance at times and I found my outlet with Mother Goose.

Suffering, the first step towards Enlightenment
Have you ever noticed when your life is going great then all of the sudden from out of the blue, bang a big dark weight just hit you. Or you move along and you get up everyday of your life and it gets to be drudge worse and worse. What do think causes that? Is it a bad sign you are under or the parents were not good enough when you grew up or I am not lucky, God is turning His head on me? Well the answer is a simple as the nose in front of you. It is you and only you. You are projecting an image to the Universe of the kind of person you want to be. So if you want to be a person hitting depression or look at a pile of bills and worry about them then that is what the Universe is offering you. Remember-ASK,SEEK and KNOCK well because of Yin-Yang principles that is what you get. Remember one cannot live without the other...Just like you might be the Light of the World but you still carry a dark shadow with you.
Yin-Yang principles are the same as Karma, cause and effect, I always emphasize the Laws of Attraction in my wording because I have found true enlightenment and the path that NOW I do not seek, it seeks me. Just consider yourself a magnet, we have the Laws of Gravity that works so well and the Laws of Attraction. The LOA is working 24/7 and is not biased on who you are. The Universe is a feeling Universe and it is the Highest Awareness that is known to the human condition. Because you are an emotional and a feeling being the Universe feels you out and gives you what you want and it is AFFIRMATIVE place here, which means it does "not" NO,NOT or NON. Ever notice you say, "I do not want to be late...and you are." That is because the Universe is responding to your desire.
I always talk about the subcon(subconsciuos ) alot because this is the place of your beliefs and it is very powerful if you know how to use it right it will be your servant. The subcon listens and feels to everything you put into your consciuos. Then it talks to the Higher Consciuosness and responds to that.
It is started off early as 7-8 years old. We were born into the Universe with innocence and a care free Spirit. When our parents sent us off to feel what was out there, school, friends, television whatever, this gave us references or roots we will call them (Quoted from James Arthur Ray). so now on our journey through this path we picked certain truths about judgements and things of non-appeal or distaste. We listened to our friends talk about things in their lives that seemed to make sense in our lives. Now when we listened to them we developed a title for our belief system. Next we went to another group of friends and they said the same thing the last group said. Amazing coincidence. Now we get older and we carry this with us. Are you with me so far? The whole point is because of our developing ego, we want to fit.
The next part of this is that it skyrockets out of control when we are 17-18. Hormones blasting and we want to compete and win and prove a point. So we do so and leave the true nature we are...SPIRIT that manifested our physical body like God made man in the Image of Himself. As we go through life we always feel like we are missing something. We have great health, wealth and very successful...These are fine qualities to have but because we still lack something we develop in the process fear, anger, guilt, lust, worry and the biggest sin of all IGNORANCE. You just became ignorant, now what? Let go, be grateful you got to that point because you were only a tool for God to get you there but your ego put that other negative stuff there, be positive always because God built you that way, move in the direction your body is facing...Straight Ahead (my personal enlightenment). God is the SOURCE and the Giant Magnet that is pulling you there. Do not resist because if you do, you become salmon in an Alaskan stream. You procreate and die only to start the process over again. Esther Hicks, famous teacher and channeler of entity Abraham, states by throwing away our oars (resistance) and move downstream things come to us and to me that is a belief I have in my subcon and it is happening all the time in my life. Life only goes in one direction, but remember there is another direction and that is only if you resist life as mention of the things above that your wants you to have.Yin-Yang principle.
So now that you are on the path of everything positive, what is next? Alignment. I have been seeking this for years and believe I am on to something. There are magnetic bands that go around the earth that you cannot see. It is called Gravity. There are magnetic bands in front of you, you cannot see called Laws of Attraction. I had a dream many years ago in 1985 that gave me a glimpse of removing my beautiful shell or veil, in Kabbalah we call it the ego, and it went like this...I was at a restaurant and seen everyone in the light with this veil, my mother, sister, my friend and people around me had it on. The meaning behind this was that the Light from the Lord could not penetrate the Spirit because it was blocked by the veil (ego). Mine was coming off in front of my eyes and I said in great feeling...I know the reason why we have coincidences in our lives and then awoken from the dream, but it was so prophetic that I search all my life to find the reason and believe I have it now. Those invisible gravity and LOA lines itersect at exact points to make a positive being and finally connect Spirit with Source/God/Higher Intel. Once that is achieved it is called alignment and total alignment brings about total enlightenment. Your target is met. Now you see the Universe instead of externally because from the get go you had Spirit and it lived a subjective reality and no other. I was mediatating 3 weeks ago and an inner voice told me ...THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE. To me that meant once the ego dissolves,the veil, your Spirit coincides with you to live harmoniuosly in the Universe.
Mind all of you that read this just accept it as my opinion and my own fact or truth. I have suffered a great deal in my life, looking for self pity, worry, guilt, a marriage that was almost on the rocks after 27 years at the time, disfunctional family growing up, suicide attempts twice but rebounded of course. A military life that I endured painfully during the most crucial times in the history of man.What I found out that all the stuff "I " was complaining about was "me". nobody else. Once I established that, I found the inner strength and immense determination to arise just like Moses staff in the desert, pull my bootstraps up, take it like a MAN, say SO WHAT and put a period at the end of it. Also thank God for helping me put a period at the end of it. Now every where IAM, I AM.
Four words of ZEN are...SUFFER-LOVE-JOY-FORGET. If you are the first word, you are on the path of your enlightenment. Bodhidharma said to Huike, a man who cut his arm off to seek his same enlightenment, ZEN will be known to a whole, only very few will practice it or live it. My intent to you is ZEN.

Zen in one one in Zen
I speak of Zen in my life as I settle in each moment of what I call the Now. Ok it took me a great deal of patience to get there but I waited and so did patience. Once you have achieved this part of Awareness in your life your path broadens as to not be complacent there even though there is stillness, a pond never sleeps and it never looks the same. It is change that brings the picture a better hue in ones eye as one opens up his/her canvas in total blank and lets the moment take charge of the well being you are. Now you and Zen are mingled in the Art of Zen.
A certain type of symmetrical and assymetrical geometry is formed as it is a meshing of both that makes it complete and harmonious but always changing. Discover these changes and you will see Zen in every aspect of your life. To me it is of great pleasure to be in the oneness of Zen as I have discovered this form of life back in January 1985, but came fully Aware of its presence just recently. It is a martial art in itself as well. The use of human body and Soul in a grand masterpiece of total being and wisdom included.
If you look for Zen, you will never find it, but it knows you. It cannot be found in dogmas, doctrines, books or movies or others. It is a oneness of your own inherent nature that you were born with. As it is central to your core being, it pulls you in the depths deeper in your Soul. OK, I did read about this in Alan Watts books on Zen and Phillip Kapleau but to me I dropped this books and asked myself that it is someone elses opinion on this,even though it was a platform, I wished to be complete with myself and no other.
In the patience of Zen, it comes in the form of two different types of meditations. One being Zazen and the other being in Vipassana. I combined the two being as one in stillness and setting my Awareness deeper.
I cannot explain this because it just comes natural. My manner of eating, speaking, writing, listening( a big part of Zen) and even walking has changed because of Zen. I go to work Now in what I call whatever is and it is.I do not see what is beyond that as I said I make it as artful as I can with it, and to much of my appreciation with it. All I can really say is that this is great way of Life and it all comes from accepting what is, allowing what is and letting go what is...Enjoy and hope you find your Zen as well as I did.
A thousand mountains I have climbed but came back here in the stillness from those mountains that no longer exist, for I am here Now and Now here I am. Does life allow you to see the true nature of this statement?
