The naughty fly*

The naughty fly*

Oh garbage pit why to you stink so much
Is it because people leave you alone, out of touch
But from your heaving dump and swill
It is life that is being created at will
Pulling through the larvae of white pearls move
It is time to grow from inside your groove
Push up and take your wings and why
To pester every human that trashed the naughty fly...

Swim out far and never come back*

Swim out far and never come back*

You look out the beautiful horiZen and see forever
Cross the line of Consciousness one leaves and comes back never
But you have your intentions in a forward attitude
You appreciate your life in gratitude
Now comes the tricky part, you feel pretty good on track
Awareness knows you well, swim out far and never come back

To no avail the veil was not for sale*

To no avail the veil was not on sale*

It was in a catalog that was on sale
The order was placed and sent in the mail
As the envelope it was sent in was on its trail
But it was sent with a parcel service that delivered by a snail
As it was pushed and prodded in pigeon coups and pulled by its tail
The pigeon was left on the stool and almost went to jail
But good lawyers a few when it comes to bail
And many win some cases and many also fail
But back to the gist of this tale
We bought a product to no avail
When we found out later on this product it was a veil and was not on sale

The wasp defends her nest*

The wasp that defends her nest*

Washing the car as I get the hose
Turn on the water with soap I suppose
Turn around and a mean little wasp on my tail
Swatting and poking she gets on my trail
She latches on my wrist and felt a sting go in
I swat her off as she is back again
Now she knows where I am at this show
I grab my broom stick and fence with her in kendo
Parlee and thrust we duke it with our best
I will never mess with the wasp that defends her nest

The sounds of the Buddha frog*

The sounds of the Buddha frog*

A night with a croaker croaking
It sounds very voistrous and also outspoken
Calling for his dominance with flies in his eyes
He sits with great intent as his belly lies
He hears his friends and they remark too
A little fly flew by and in his mouth he chews
Now he sits content on his water lily in the fog
He just repeated his lunch with the sounds of the Buddha frog

The squirrel and the pine tree*

The squirrel and the pine tree*

To go outside and tweak my senses
I walk down a narrow road lined with guard rail fences
I reach a hilly part on a grassy knoll
I go by a group of trees that make my back hold
I sit down all alone with nothing around
I feel my Consciousness with all my senses in its surrounds
I close my eyes to begin meditating with katydids and bees
I come out of my meditation awake and fresh but who do I see
A bushy tail squirrel next to me and the pine tree

The Mighty Mohawk River*

The Mighty Mohawk River*

The eagle flies high above the domain
As the land is blessed and it is not stained
The crow calls out over the forest green
As the crystal clear waters to the end can be seen
Deer and moose walk in the fields of barley wheat
As Native Americans walk in moccasins and some in their bare feet
Fish a plenty in all the Erie Canal waterways
Mountains and ranges from the Heldebergs to the Adirondacks
The river finds its way to the open cracks
Great Warrior and Keeper of the Eastern Door use arrow, bow and quiver
As to live, fish and hunt on the Mighty Mohawk River
