The tree as it stands*
The tree has light with branches open and show each spot
Smack dab in the middle of the forest right on the dot
It gave strength underground with soil and collared in bark
It sat through rain, snow,lightning,wind storm and even the dark
That is not where it got its power from as it was its own Truth
Strength came from down below, as it was nurtured with its own roots
