Worldly pleasures of desires so deep

Attached to those things that the heart does not keep

A darkened world that is stuck like the mud in the pond

Illusions to tempt to excite not to make calm

But something is not with that world within

It has been awakened always to be born again

It sleeps away from that darkness it does not see

It is not of any shadow for it is truly free

When the sun comes up in the daylight

It knows when a path is made, leaving the night

Protected by love, petals look like hands folded to a prayer

Through cool murky waters, awakened to be here from there

Now it has surfaced and it shows its beauty to the world

Petals open up, received the love as it unfurls

It sees itself always as it is in a consciousness that trusts

Coming here over and over, enlightened where it is,

For it is the beauty of the awakened lotus

Push me beyond your world as I am in the dark

Then this is how it goes, this sorrow I will park

My heart maybe burdened by what you have done

I will trust that is within myself and find that one

I will shed many tears but know that times go by

That it is necessary for me to open up and cry

But there is something special that when I do

It already knows where I am going and have to go through

For I rely on it with trust as it has that power

My shell is breaking apart and wisdom emerges with a root

This is now my journey to take on my own, it is my truth

It was myself that I was searching for but seemed to resist

So now all is erased from a past that is no longer there

I arrive through broken soil and feel love in the air

Little Red Riding Hood*

Little Red Riding Hood*

A daughter's love came to send something to her mother

Sending her younger one into he woods but not further

She packed a basket of goodies to help her from being ill

Goodness was always her trademark and in her Soul*s will

She bundled up the younger one to move onward ahead

This younger one wore a cape with a hood over her head

The color that she wore was vibrant to stand out

Bright red was the fashion for it to be seen without a doubt

A wolf over heard her with her mother where she was going

So the wolf went to grandma's house in what it was knowing

To move grandma out of the picture and for it instead to meet

And to know a scrumptious dinner was in its eye's to eat

Off she scurried the younger traipsed away

Into the woods she left so early in the day

Along her journey she seen deer, bears and even a field mouse

Ahhhh!!!! what is in sight now is grandma's house

She knocked on the door and a gravely voice said "who's there?"

"Why it is me grandma, Little Red Riding Hood. I am here"

"Oh my, my dear please come in and see me"

The door opened wide so pleasant and free

Little Red Riding Hood seen grandma in bed not looking to good

So she started to ask a few things as she knew she would

First was, "oh grandma you have a big nose"

The wolf answered "to smell you I suppose"

The next she said "oh grandma you have big eyes"

The wolf said "the better to see you with, such a lovely surprise"

She moved on down it's face and seen that it had big teeth

The WOLF jumped out of bed and here is what it said 

"Here I come out of this bed for it is you that I eat"

A chase pursued and they both scurried around

But where was grandma there was not even a sound

The wolf had tied her up in the back room

But she managed to get free and come to the aid real soon

She took a loaded shotgun and busted on in

She seen this dangerous situation and was about to begin

The shotgun was loaded and a shot went off

The wolf was stunned and went aloft

Though the wolf was not injured and went out the door

It now knew this meant business and was not to come back no more

So Little Red Riding Hood felt safe in grandma's arms

They both gave big hugs by the fireplace so warm

So the end of the story that I wrote to tell

Everything in the end works out real well

In your darkest hours do not freeze or fret

Something is on its way as you ain't seen nothing yet

Maybe I am lost without my Soul* that is inside of me

For a false hope has been placed and leaves me to be hanging on

I wish to pop out of this dilemma, to say goodbye to it and be gone

For I know that life is good as the way it is meant to be

When I do become one once again and my burden to be free

The time being I continue to move forward not knowing what to do

Sun goes by for another day
The sound of pitter patter, the dance of the rain
Little droplets form on the window pane
I look outside and there is no one around
The rain keeps coming to lay on the ground


Though there is no one here that can be with me
It would be nice to have some company
So I sit here and ponder with momentary fate
And allow the time to fly by, a little more I wait
I know it cannot be like this for many hours
But the Universe has to give drink to trees, grass and flowers


My heart would definitely feel so much better
If my Lover was here in this type of weather
So I keep on wishing that with this day I pull through
And something to come along for me to do
I know this will pass but there are still many clouds

Time behind us came so fast, as it is done

Remembering our first quaint love affair

Both of our hearts together, enjoying what we shared 

Walking this journey and to continue on in our light

How we made it this far and the things we went through

It was joy and our happiness that fulfilled our needs

Though we have our bonds but it is love that is free

I am so glad that all things in this life so far have worked out
