The ending came as it croaked*

A nice afternoon is where I begin

I arrive at a pond to meditate within

Joyful as this is peace that it brings

I am underneath a locust tree, songbirds start to sing

I affix my self in an opening near the reeds

Ready to look inside myself, a moment to be free 

I sit  in a lotus position, I fit my being centrally as I stay

Now I am in my focus, my eyes turn inward in a gaze

It all comes together this feeling of bliss and to be still

I have made it to the other side without effort to my will

The world around me has enveloped me in such peace

Even right Now from raging winds this all came to a cease

I go a little deeper and a more placid sense of calm

I open my eyes a bit and see no ripples on the pond

The trees in a distance little movement as they stay

It is like they do ZAZEN, in the night and all day

But out of all this a little utterance from the wind as it spoke

When I awakened out of this, it was because a bull frog just croaked

The peaceful moon*

The night came in without a sound

Light walked away, darkness all around

Stillness the Soul* felt and went very deep

The heart was filled with love, this shall it keep

It seemed that this moment was here to last

Though all was moving onward, as all to pass

I go deeper into a meditative state

To erase all that is here, having a clean slate

It is into this Soul*, the pinnacle of my being

Emptiness in the abode, clarity in seeing

When I arise from this I become the still and calm

Now right in front of me, the moon peacefully sits in the pond

Oneness is love*

Oneness is love*

The world outside is moving faster without being calm

Teaching you nothing about being a reflected mountain pond

But when you do break away from this and what it is showing

You start to settle in the center, where wisdom is in its knowing

For you pull together the peace and it begins to start

A world that becomes one to see for and never to be apart

For now what is below is also above

You have found your heart as this is oneness and oneness is love

Love and trust, the awakened lotus*

Love and trust, the awakened lotus*

Worldly pleasures of desires so deep

Attached to those things that the heart does not keep

A darkened world that is stuck like the mud in the pond

Illusions to tempt to excite not to make calm

But something is not with that world within

It has been awakened always to be born again

It sleeps away from that darkness it does not see

It is not of any shadow for it is truly free

When the sun comes up in the daylight

It knows when a path is made, leaving the night

Protected by love, petals look like hands folded to a prayer

Through cool murky waters, awakened to be here from there

Now it has surfaced and it shows its beauty to the world

Petals open up, received the love as it unfurls

It sees itself always as it is in a consciousness that trusts

Coming here over and over, enlightened where it is,

For it is the beauty of the awakened lotus

The flowers need a drink*

What seems to be your trouble or on your mind?

Is it something deep inside you not working out so fine?

You have that look that I can see that is in your eyes

Like soon something is going to happen to make you cry

Yes my love, I feel this as they are starting to well

There must be a burden within your heart as I can tell

Please do not hold back and make it to release

The tension will subside and you will be at ease

Your heart will come to calm and peace will be with you

There are many things in life that we must go through

So with this said and to cry to release the pain

Remember that flowers need a drink so it has to rain

Clouds do not exist below a pond

They might reflect on the surface when it is calm

But a depth below that it does show in view

Transparency is clear, when one is looking though

But to a fish in such pond it seems to be fine

It sees perfectly in its environment all of the time

The mountain awaits very patiently still

It takes in one breath and releases its fill

When a cloud comes by as it is passing through

Absorbing this freshness from out of the blue

Combing gentle winds through all of its trees

The fingers of such wind with its light breeze

Ahhhh!!!! a feeling of a soothing balm

This is how a mountain always remains in a calm

Pure is the air, gentle is the breeze

Relaxed in a calm state to make me at ease

Fresh that I feel, fulfillment deep inside

Such this moment to be in, so satisfied

Allowing what is here to move right on through

Like the wind into tree limbs, letting it do what it needs to do

But to be in this state and one with heart like this

It is one with the Soul* with its love and also it is bliss

Eyes into vastness, what is to be seen?

Why do I do this as what does it mean?

To gaze upon this calm and be of its peace

To turn my back on struggle and see it all cease

A window of opportunity that stares me in my face

Is to leave this barrier behind and walk into its space

My heart so painful as it seems

To be lost in love but to be of a dream

I know that you are close and I can tell

To feel you within my heart so well

Maybe if I just surrender at will

And come to calm and become perfectly still

And to feel you from silence and enter with this blend

To know of no beginning and have no end

Richness then in heart will take over me

And both of our unity that we shall be

The heart will now be of love as this I suppose

To be of this vibrancy entwined as one, we are the rose

Contented love of the lotus*

I arise like the lotus in the day from the mud

I open myself up to be the bloom from the bud

I seek the sunshine that gives me the beauty this way

And show the whole universe throughout the day

To me there is nothing in this world to ever find

For that is a shadow that is left behind

Though I am only momentary to be in this light

Then back in the murk for it is my home at night

But enjoy my beauty while you can

As where I am placed, content where I stand

It is because of the silence and stillness to be calm

And the unconditional love that I sit in this pond

Gone is the evening, the moon and the stars

They left to travel onward to be so very far

I arise this morning with beautiful sunshine

Rays of golden tenderness in my heart so fine

I stay here for a moment and listen to my Soul*

And hear its tender voice, a short story to be told

Soon I will move onward and bring peace from this space

And to know of calmness where I go, no matter to what place

For it is love and it is my heart that oneness exists

From this no other can make me step off the path to resist

Taken in by beauty, my lover by my side

The heavens were filled with love this day

Clouds puffy white, blue background not gray

The atmosphere that was fresh, as it always has been

Loaded with purity and clarity, it's oxygen

Everything in nature all in synchronicity and peace

You get the feeling in this calmness, that all has ceased

With this clarity, a rhythm is born without curse

An opening for these vibrations in the Universe

So more love is brought in from this harmony

There is no experiments as it knows of its own chemistry

It starts underground, a foundation of many things

The wonder of its wisdom through the ground it does bring

The seed that started it all, just a plain ordinary shell

Something from a tree's limb, had a journey and fell

But going back to the rhythm, we recall

This little journey that fell, becomes of itself to be so tall

It will be another tree, we shall see

It's rhythm of life, for this is poetry
