I came here to be no longer*

There once was a place where there was a long sleep

Eyes that did not see its truth as deep it doth keep

But something was about to happen, a bright new moment came

This total blindness was no longer the same

Everything all at once came alive

Seems what was held back this all survived

Bright and radiance with love all around

It manifested itself into the world without a sound 

It grew from its abundance happily as it seemed

Yes there was no more going back to a dream

It enjoyed a dance of gentle winds

A continuous plushness of a season again and again

But something was felt no longer to be here

Something was moving away no longer to be near

What could this be as it slowly moving along

Feels like something missing soon to be gone

Oh my goodness, leaves on the trees are starting to change

It is getting colder now, this was not the same

Soon I  was watching on how all things depart

All was withering away, something was about to start

I watched things taken away and took it all in view

It seems I became helpless in not knowing what to do

I guess it was my turn next, I had to allow

My experience was then taken away as I was no longer here now

An illusion and trick of this world to be in

Time comes with struggle again and again

Deceived into conformity seems right after birth

But as I press on with this, it is no worth

Doing my best to figure it all out

The deeper that I get with it, nothing but doubt

No awakening yet, the waste of another day

More of the glue of ignorance that really stays

So how does one break from what one has been taught

Be free from memories and see what needs to be sought

I guess the moment will come on its own accord

And leave all these notions that I cannot afford

Enlightenment will be when I am free of my "mind"

Allowing all things to be free of themselves and that will be fine

With this then there is nothing more that I can do

It is something I cannot see but instead it sees me in its view

Time slips away as I wander

"Thoughts" may come, some without ease

But know in awareness, it is gone in a breeze

Slippery feeling a void is allowed

As all has moved onward, taken away in a cloud

The thought in memory will not last

Letting go of what is, allowing us to be free

Tough was the going, many times I did wept

But I pursued onward as something pulled me through

It kept saying to me, I still have you in my view

Please do not give up as I have you in my arms

I am the one you do not see, sheltering you from each storm

Hold on a little longer, this is how the shell of a seed opens wide

I cradle you and protect you, from each and every side

I feel that you somehow know me, your heart is opening now

Yes, this is getting stronger, you accept me and I do allow

For now we both know of each other and we have each other in sight

You now can see within yourself, darkness diminishes to show the light

Invisible that it is and comes around so much

To be constant in becoming this, just feel it right now

In actuality, it is the Universe that accepts and allows

This is all one needs from love, to be so satisfied

A tear to never shed to ever be in one's eye

Yes this is love and to be unconditional is its gift

To share happiness as you can, to give another a lift

As nature already knows how to make of this to perform
