Journey to end with the light*

Life one day started out like a candle stick

Inside of it was its path, the wick

Once it was on its way to be lit

This light took direction and that was it

Melting it was through the moments in time

Each spot through this it made, oxygen it did find

Lower and lower the wick burned through

A steady flame that knew what to do

No longer was it to be upright and firm

It just kept moving onward, the wick it did burn

Dissolving with itself, a waxy build up in the blend

A lit step at a time, nearing it's end

One thing that was noticed, expiration so near

It was the past of this candle, that was slowly to disappear 

Once things are in motion there is only one thing do

Is surviving in the next moment, something they must go through

Like are friend the candle not goo from it's blend

But was it great use on the path from beginning to end

Where darkness becomes the least

It is the sun that arises in the east

To move about in the azure sky

Pushing clouds away, that wish to cry

Oh radiant light in heaven's place

Spreading your rays of gold to embrace

But you must move onward sometime soon

To pull along a smiling moon

As quickly as the day comes to an end

You will visit in this same place once again

So now from what the day's eyes did their best

You walk away into the dream and leave with a rest

The moment it knows how to unfurl

Yet patience comes just a bit longer

Gone is yesterday, it came here quick 

This morning a flame was lit on a wick

Brilliant was the day as it walked on by

Openness was filled with a light in the sky

But we say goodbye to all that, it retires in the west

This candle shall return once more in the east, to be our guest

From the warmth that came one day

Settled down and went its way

But another turn of events came

This was a season that was not the same

It started out as a cool breeze

That nature felt it should let go with ease

For now it was preparing something ahead

The warmer temps left for the cooler instead

As the days gone by as now it is the past

You would believe that the cold would be gone and not last

But to this day the cold is still here

You have to know that spring is near

The days have more light and are now longer

Should it be that the warmth is stronger?

But heck no, water on the roof does not drip

Frozen icicles and the ground frigid, cold has its grip

So I make a statement to Mother Nature to see

That all of that death in the winter has to let go and let it be

Please open up softly and give rebirth to what you will bring

Say bye of what is bothering you and melt to bring on spring

All I seen was the twinkling light

Jewels and diamonds in a treasure

Many miles across in such measure

As it was progressing on

Further away it seemed the light was done

But something made a turn

It is like someone lit a match to burn

Oh now I can see

An invisible hand working so free

Then the wall of darkness being erased

Now all that exists is a ball of glow sitting in space

It is all happening all at once in the surround

You notice it more in nature, moving about and around

But it also is where you are standing as it takes place

There is something that is allowing all to move in its space

Openness it takes advantage in what it always sees

To move right where its from and knows how to be free

There is no agenda in forming any kind of rights

As it is liberated where it is like no shadows on a light

So with this in mind, coming to a conclusion

The myth we confront as what eyes to look

Goes by like the pages of an  open book

For what is without us is an illusion indeed

That is not who we are when we know who to be

When you narrow it down and watch it implode

The external world begins its end and starts to erode

Take away its darkness in the night

Or brilliance of the day with its light

When you leave this by itself you will get a better view

You will find out of one only, it is you that is the truth

So no longer can you be what made you outside of here

You have now established a place, so accurate and so clear

Nothing else can possibly be a life you once known

Sought nowhere to go from that, in missing your home

Hence you will find out that all stems from you within

I see no sign of a cloud to shed a tear

The shimmer of the sun ripples in the pond

I am at ease with myself in such a calm

The water moves about from the wind

Silent words come in waves over and over again

But I am here with nothing else but to be still

The present is my partner and we both see our will

Harmoniously through the air, as this is how it goes

But I pursued onward as something pulled me through

It kept saying to me, I still have you in my view

The evening was here, so was the moon

Romance in my heart play a rhythmic tune

But you were not here as I went to sleep

I kept thinking of you to be in my heart to keep

I walked on the other side of my eyes

In hopes to see you but it was empty skies

Visions were popping in and out in this dream

But more space was there in the in betweens

I awoke the next day with a little despair

To still not have you and see you anywhere

After darkened vision I had of you

I may have felt that I lost love so true

The only thing that I could come close of

Was to see another in such love

Mysterious in a darkened brew

To hold and caress you that you wish me to

Yes your fragrance is overwhelming, this I like

To get up and be of morning vitality in my life

I seen that it is a deep dark textured black hole

Vivaciously hot and never too cold

I do not wish to sink into bitters with my lips

When I pick you up from your curvy hips

So I put  half and half in you in a beautiful light

And take away darkness from the night

Of course I know how sweet you can be

So I add some sugar that it entices me

Ahhhhh!!!! I am glad that this satisfies
