The Illusion*

The Illusion*

Arising as it may seem
Once we are up we are put into the stream
Swimming along the shadows in the pursuit of the dream
We are caught in the in between
The fact finding deeper
Whether it is just a delusion
Kept digging for a keeper
Only to find outside thyself was an illusion

  1. so very true, sometimes we just end up chasing our own shadows.

  2. Reading your poem, I feel that every human being is searching the light have yet the duality within yourself:
    I am light and shadow.
    Life and dead,
    Peace and war,
    Hard and soft.
Touch me with your finger and will feel my lightness, the life, my peaceful.
Touch with a cane, you will feel my shadow, my hardness, my hate.
    I'm a human being.
I'm trying to be a divine being.
    Please, take away your cane!
I have already taken away mine.

  4. Ana...in duality we can pick one or the other as to pick both leaves us in a quandry as hence the illusion...we try to hold on to too many things when the only thing we hold on to is Mother Earth herself as in gravity..good poem and response as well..enjoy my love(+)

I finally got the point!*  Have you ever noticed where you stand?  Casting your eyes outward across the land Now you come across an epiphany...
